What is autism spectrum disorder (ASD)? Autism spectrum disorder is a developmental, or learning and thinking, disorder. It is caused by a problem with how the brain functions that affects social-emotional, communication, and behaviour skills. These brain differences can cause problems such as repetitive behaviours and communication difficulties. The child with ASD has struggles with social communication and social interactions that cannot be explained by developmental delays; the child has obsessive and repetitive patterns of behaviour, interests, and activities, and may also have unusual reactions to sensations.

Why not support AUTISIM ROCKS on June 24th 2017. I will be there to enjoy the day and advise anyone who might need support with an ASD child.
